Am I a good candidate for Morpheus8 Burst?

What to expect during a treatment..
Each session takes 15-60 minutes, depending on the size of the area to be treated. A discussion about your skin concerns, previous history and medications will be discussed. Pictures for treatment progress are taken. You will have your face prepped for the application of a topical numbing cream. It is best to wait at least one hour to fully numb the skin surface. This cream will be removed prior to starting the treatment. Adjustments to the depth of the needle penetration are changed depending on the area treated, such as over bone is a lower needle penetration or in areas where fat loss is avoided, or deeper when treating areas such as a double chin. Some areas are more sensitive than others, but if becomes painful the settings can be adjusted or the use of inhaled or oral medications may be added. Post op care and instructions are provided and following these will produce optimal results. It is recommended for best results to start with a series of three treatments, and then yearly maintenance to re-stimulate the on-going collagen production.
How soon will I see results from the treatment?
Some will notice improved skin tone and texture within a few days after the first treatment. New collagen and elastin development occurs about three months after the final treatment of the series. The results can last up to a year or more, especially with good skin care, the use of high-quality products and regular use of sunscreen.
Does it hurt?
Most patients tolerate the treatment well with the topical numbing cream only. We can offer additional things such as nitrous gas or even a prescription for a medication to help you tolerate the discomfort. Prescription must be requested prior to the appointment. Keep in mind, that you must have a driver with you if you take any type of oral medications.
What does recovery time look like ?
Typically, one to three days of social downtime for redness, itchiness or swelling to resolve. Care post treatment recommends 24-72 hours of minimal products on the treated skin, and avoid direct sun exposure for weeks while using an SPF sunscreen. Bruising over sensitive areas are common along with redness and swelling which resolves quickly.
