Breast
Reductions
Large, heavy breasts can be painful due to excessive weight and often cause problems such as back pain and soreness in the shoulders from bra straps which cut into the skin.
Surgery involves the removal of excess breast tissue in combination
with reshaping. Incisions are similar to those used for a more
extensive lift.
Your surgeon will discuss the procedures possible and explain the
technique that may be best suited for you. Because of the associated adverse
health symptoms (pain; limitation of activities), insurance may cover some or all of the
surgery financing. Be sure to check with your insurance provider. We also offer finance options in our office that our staff would be happy to discuss with you.
Keeping You Comfortable A surgical dressing protects the incisions. Some
swelling, bruising and minor discomfort may be experienced for several days after the surgery. Discomfort can be easily controlled with pain medication.

How Will I Look After
Surgery?
After healing, your surgery
should add pleasing dimensions to your overall proportion and
symmetry. You may be required to wear a supportive bra. Your doctor
will advise you as to when you may resume normal activity. These
procedures can be performed on an outpatient basis, under either
general or local anesthesia in our state of the art facility. |
