We are all excited about our second party to be held next Tuesday on the 19th. At the last party we really enjoyed the one on one social interactions with clients and the catered food was a big hit.  At the upcoming event there  will be a drawing for a free Juvederm treatment and a one time only offer for 35% off on tummy tucks. Did Lipo today to remove those arm "bat wings" and trim up the inner thighs. I am really concerned about the number of patients  we are seeing with bad results from so called quick procedures such as laser and ultrasound liposuction. Some patients have serious skin sloughing from laser burns and the skin is lumpy rather than smooth like you would get from a more traditional procedure using modern cannulas. I wish all women would research the different lipo procedures fully before surgery. -Doctor Benien

A new Sculptra patient today seeking help with those deep dark under eye circles. Just took two injections under each eye, quick- entire thing done in under 5 minutes. She needs one touch up in a month then her face is good for two years. -Doctor Cohn

Did a major "mommy" tuck today on a woman with three beautiful kids. She was in great shape but just couldn't  tighten up that tummy after having three kids- but we took care of that for he.- Doctor Benien

Had a woman in for a two year Sculptra treatment touchup today. Amazing how great she still looked two years after the initial face treatment. Those deep smile lines are gone from her face! -Doctor Cohn

Invitation Emails  went out yesterday  (to those on our mailing list) for our Dec 1st Botox party with wine and food. We've already had a big response and expect to have the limited spots filled fast.  The Botox rep will be there and is supplying all of the food. One lucky gal will win a free treatment at the party. The whole "party" idea seems to be going over big- so we plan to have more of these at the Cosmetic Surgery Center. There are certain facts that all women considering breast implant augmentation should know.

• Most women choose augmentation for reasons of self-esteem and I really do see results in this area as women gain a tremendous new amount of self-confidence.

• Implants change your cup size - not your measurements. If you wore a 36B bra, after augmentation you could go to a 36C or 36D, but you would still be a size 36.

• Every woman's breasts are asymmetrical, slightly different in size and shape. That asymmetry will still exist after augmentation surgery.

• it usually takes a couple of months for your mind and body to connect and adjust to the beautiful new you. -Benien

Did a major tummy tuck surgery with lipo today. Results look great but the poor gal is having problems with pain-- upped the strength and # of her pain medications. Patients need to understand that these procedures are major surgery and will involve some pain afterwards. The amount varies widely depending on the patient's pain threshold. Some people have very little pain and are up and about the next day- even after major procedures, others need stronger meds and take longer to feel like themselves again.
